Analysis of the structure and function of car brake pads!

Analisar a construção e a ação das pastilhas de freio do carro!

Car brake pads(Pastilhas de freio para automóveis) are an important part of the car brake system, to ensure driving safety, many people look at the brake pads on such a small piece, thus ignoring the importance of the brake pads, however, is that really the case? In fact, although the brake pad is only a small piece, it has many structures, and each layer of its structure is connected to each other and plays an indispensable role. The following automotive brake pad manufacturers introduce the structure of brake pads:

Friction material: it is undoubtedly the core part of the entire brake pad, and the formula of the friction material directly affects the braking performance and brake comfort of the friction pad (there is no noise and vibration).

At present, friction materials are mainly divided into three categories according to the formula: semi-metal materials, less metal materials and ceramic materials. RAL brake pads are formulated with ceramic and less metal to achieve low noise, low chip and high safety performance.

Heat insulation: During the braking process of the vehicle, due to the high-speed friction between the brake pad and the brake disc, a lot of heat is generated instantly, if the heat is directly transferred to the metal backplane of the brake pad, it will cause the brake pump to overheat, which may cause the brake fluid to produce air resistance in serious cases. Therefore, there is a insulation layer between the friction material and the metal back plate. The insulation layer must have high temperature and high pressure resistance, effectively isolating the brake high temperature, so as to maintain a stable braking distance.

Adhesive layer: It is used to bond the friction material and the backplane, so its bonding strength is very important to ensure the reliable connection of the backplane and the friction material, providing a tough product to ensure the braking effect.

Backplane: The role of the backplane is to support the overall structure of the friction material, and transfer the braking force of the brake pump, so that the friction material of the brake pad and the brake disc are effectively engaged. The backplane of RAL brake pads has the following characteristics:

1. Meet strict durability specifications;

2. Ensure the safe operation of friction materials and brake calipers

3. Backplane powder coating technology;

4. Environmental protection, rust prevention, durable use.

Silencer: Silencer is also called shock absorber, which is used to suppress vibration noise and improve braking comfort
